Cove Family Garden

This year the Cove Guest Home established a Family Garden for the Residents, their families and staff to enjoy.  The benefits of gardening programs have been documented to increase happiness, contentment, and overall well being for our residents.

If you can assist this project by making a personal or business donation, it would be greatly appreciated.  Also, we invite our new residents to take a special piece of their own gardens from home with them to their "New Home", and we will plant it for them so they may continue to enjoy it.

Festival of Lights 2009

Our 13th Anniversary was another successful year, raising almost $13,000. Thank you, for your donation to the Festival of Lights 2009. The Memorial Book will be on display in the Cove lobby for the entire year. Take a glance through it next time your visiting. A special thanks to the Cove Ladies Auxiliary and the Sydney River Elementary School choir.

Again, thank you for your continued support to this worthwhile project.
Sincerely,

Darren MacNeil

Prayer
Commemoration of the Faithfully Departed
Eternal God, we trust in you not for this world alone but for the world to come. We remember our own loved ones who have passed through death to a new life. For their memory we give thanks, and for our fellowship with them now in your presence. Bring us at the last where they are, to those things which our lips cannot utter but which our hearts long for, in the glory of our Kingdom. This we ask through Jesus Christ our Lord, and as he taught us we also pray saying; Our Father...Amen.
