I just wanted to say Thank you for taking care of my aunt Marge Ripley. I visited her a few weeks ago with her sister (my mom) Telma Warren and was greatly impressed by the unit my aunt lived in. My aunt lives accross the road in a huge home that is still connected with The Cove. There are only 4 woman in this house so they can still be independent. I also visited her while she had an apartment style room at the main Cove on Kings Rd and in the new building on Alexander St. (She has been there for awhile)
All in all, I think she is being cared for very well and seems to be content. Thanks for doing a good job for everyone in there. Everyone needs someone.

After4 months in the City Hospital ,my mother HERTHA LAFFORD was finally transferred to the COVE. I was so relieved as I knew that she would receive excellent care. Within 6 weeks or so I my Dad also moved into The Cove. Four days before Dad died I was in Sydney and Dad told me that the past year they had spent in the Cove was the best year he had spent in the last ten. The residents and staff were lovely to him and he enjoyed the activities and meals so much. He said that if he died tomorrow he could go in peace as she was so well cared for. Mom lasted for over a year after Dad passed away and was fed supper by Mrs Mac Askill almost to the end of her days. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff who cared for her when I was not able to. THANK YOU I wish Dad could have lived long enough to have seen your beautiful new facility.

Very, very nice website. I go to the Cove every time I am down in Sydney. My Aunt Margaret Mizzi lives there. I used to go to the old Cove years ago with the CGIT from Bethel Presbyterian Church. That seems so long ago.
You should be very proud of this Home. When I was talking to my Uncle Eddy in Hamilton, Ontario (Aunt Margaret's Brother) last week he was saying how beautiful the nursing homes are down there for the elderly compare to Ontario.
Keep up the good work.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the Residents and Staff in the Cove and please say hi to Aunt Margaret for us
